This collection of linked, lyric essays asserts that our social problems are rooted in spiritual problems – separation, fear, emptiness, a lack of compassion, suffering and unconsciousness. The essays chronicle the manifestation of these states in the social environment and propose practices for shifting our internal perspective and outward behavior.
